How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
You talk to an independent provider. Each one runs a local septic or sewer business. They are not employees of Shallfew Septic. They work for themselves.
We help you reach them. They do the work.
What Happens on the Call
Start by saying what you see. Is a drain slow? Is there a bad smell? Is water pooling in the yard? Short, clear facts help.
The provider may ask a few things:
- How old is the home?
- When was the tank last pumped?
- Has anyone repaired the system before?
- Where is the tank on your property?
Older homes often lack records. That is fine. Say what you know. A good provider can check the rest.
What to Ask a Provider
You are hiring someone to work on your home. Ask plain questions.
- Are you licensed to work here?
- Can you give me a written quote?
- What is included in that price?
- How will you protect my yard and pipes?
- Do you see signs of past repairs or hidden problems?
- How soon can you come out?
Take notes. If an answer is unclear, ask again. A good provider is happy to explain.
Older Homes Need Extra Questions
If your home is older, ask what the provider will check before work starts. Aging pipes can crack. Old tanks may need a closer look. Ask how they plan to avoid surprises.
You Are in Control
You do not have to hire the first provider you talk to. You can compare quotes. You can ask for time to think. There is no obligation.
Providers set their own prices and schedules. We do not. Costs vary by job, so get the quote in writing before you say yes.
